As Elijah departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Elijah may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elijah leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Willine Dunaway Belback and Maeland Belback. He is survived by: his son Mark; his granddaughters, Kellie, Krystal, Faye Marie and Lacy; his sisters, Harriette Cummings of Independence and Judy Fay Gale of Rolla; and his cousin Elijah Alphred Dunaway (Judy). He is also survived by 5 great-grand daughters.
