He is survived by: his wife Pat Adkison; his daughters, Emily Fry (Jesse) and Ellen Miller (Nathan); his grandchildren, Molly, Max, Eliza and Audie; his siblings, Dean Adkison (Janet), Nancy Hawley, Kay Hartley (Dale), George Adkison (Sherry) and Mona Bassett; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Burnett and Barbara Adkison.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Open Hearts United Methodist Church or to the Central Methodist University Band.
