It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Hightower (Bolivar, Missouri), who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hightower and Julia McNealey Hightower; and his sister Ruby Mackie. He is survived by: his former wife Diane Thompson; his wife Carol Ann Middleton; his children, Julie Hightower Jones (David) of Lebanon, Missouri and C. E. Hightower (Debbie) of Springfield, Missouri; his stepdaughter Michelle Parsons (Rob) of Bolivar, Missouri; his grandchildren, Dr. Michelle Helton (Jon) of Macks Creek, McKenna Mulhall (Zach) of Kansas City, Connor Hicks (Emily) of Lebanon and Casen Hightower of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his sisters, Faye Neasby of Lebanon and Patty Crain of Springfield, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Sue Griffith of Lebanon, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial to Integrity Hospice has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
