It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Austin Grant Tipton of Bois D Arc, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tipton and Blanche Tipton (Andrews); his former wife Rowena Alice Tipton (Stacey); his son Roger Lee; his sisters, Marie Hurley, Hester Sheridan and Lou Davis; and his stepdaughter Gail Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Tipton; his children, Tom Tipton (Kathy) and Belinda Slagle (Charles); his stepchildren, Jean Rose (Gary), Terri Johnson (Glenn Seppanen) and Mark Johnson (Alisa); his grandchildren, Jason L. Tipton (Piper), Joshua L. Tipton (Amber), Stacey Slagle, Austin Slagle (Margaret) and Emily Slagle; his stepgrandchildren, Jill Johnson, Becky Quintana (Esteban), Matt Rose (Meghan), Elizabeth Rose and Madeline Rose (EV); his great grandchildren, Jaci Tipton, Clara Tipton, Reece Slagle and Harrison Slagle; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Reid Rose and Beauden Rose; his sister Pearl Campbell; and his pet Mimi. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
