He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arnold and Pauline Arnold (Hurt); and his daughter Kimberly Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Arnold; his children, Mary Angela Arnold and Joseph Paul Arnold, Jr.; his stepson Jerry Thomas Troup of Memphis Tennessee; and his granddaughters, Christina Marie Stewart and Megan Rose Troup.
