With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Robert Poppenheimer of Bogard, Missouri, who passed away on January 21, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Poppenheimer and Edna Mae Poppenheimer (Jones). He is survived by: his wife June Marie Place; his daughters, Caroline Walker of Michigan and Mary Poppenheimer of California; his stepdaughters, Denise Shine of Tina and Tammy Featherly of Overland Park, Kansas; and his sister Nancy Dickson of Florida. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
