He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Vance and Merle Anna Tye Cox; his children, Cecillia Ostermeyer (David) of Bogard, Howard Cox (Sandy) of Slater and Clifton Cox (Kim) of Odessa; and his sister Alline Murry (Earl) of Odessa. He was also cherished by his parents; two sisters, three brothers, two grandsons, one granddaughter and one great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Braden Cemetery.
