She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Alexander Brett and Mary Adeline Brett (Harder); and her sister Juanita Karnes. She is survived by: her son John L. Thornton (Barbara) of Bradenton, FL; her grandchildren, Lindsay Wiles (Nathan) and Wes Thornton (Angela); and her great grandchildren, Hannah Grace Wiles, Austin Wiles, Grayson Wiles and Meyer Thornton.
