In loving memory of Therese Hopkins of Blue Springs, Missouri, who departed this world on March 15, 2025 at the age of 69. Therese leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Etzel and Ruth Eileen Etzel (Stein); her stepmother Maurine Etzel (Openshaw McDonald); and her siblings, Richard Terry Etzel (Karen Tallman) of Tucson, AZ, Deborah Kay Etzel (Debbie) and Gregory Joseph.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Stephen and Marie Therese; her siblings, Robert Eugene Etzel (Meggan) of Lawrence, KS and Mary Ann Etzel Marshall (Steve) of Topeka, KS; and her stepbrother Randy McDonald (Bethann). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins; and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society or the American Heart Association and sent in care of the funeral home.
