With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia I. Smith of Blue Springs, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on May 20, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, S. I. Smith (Mississippi) and Anna Bess Morris Smith (Tennessee); her husbands, C. Clifford Hannah and W. Frank Kesler; and her siblings, Wilson M. Smith, Ben M. A. Smith and Irma Smith Moses.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert W. Ollis Sr.; her children, Robert W. Ollis, Jr. (Richard Gibbons) of Chicago, IL, Nancy A. Holste (Mike) of Blue Springs, MO. and John W. Ollis (Linda) of Beaufort, SC; her grandsons, Christopher Johnson and David Johnson (Sara Alaica); her niece Anne Moses Bennett (Bill); and her nephews, Ben Jr., Robert and Paul Smith. She is also survived by spouses and children) and cousins.
