She is survived by: her children, Michael Evans of Blue Springs and Dana Mitchell (Andy) of Lee's Summit; her granddaughters, Katie and Brooke Mitchell; and her sister Anne Hobbs of Alexandria, VA..

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to First Baptist Church of Blue Springs, 4500 Little Blue Parkway Independence, MO 64057.
