She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles B. Shewell and Leota N. Shewell (Daniel); and her nephew Chuck Jr.. She is survived by: her son Phillip Chapin of Blue Springs; her grandsons, Derrek Chapin (Laura) of Zumbrota, MN and Devin Chapin of Riverside, MO; her great grandchildren, Olivia and Benjamin; and her siblings, John Michael Shewell (Carol) of Kansas City, KS, Terry Lee Shewell (Amy) of Puxico, MO, Larry Dean Shewell (Linda) of Houston, TX and Linda Mae Burch (Alan) of Blue Springs.
