He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; his son Gary Hurst; and his parents, Grant Hurst and Tisha Hurst. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Hurst of Alma, KS and Charles Hurst (Renee Morgan) of Lawrence, KS; and his brother Donald Hurst of Mountain Home, AR. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
