It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Glenn Simmermon of Blue Springs, Missouri, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Taylor and Bertha Jane Simmermon (Coy); his wife Janice Simmermon; and his siblings, Beatrice Eleanor Fitzgerel, Ernest Eugene (Ernie) and Robert Allen Simmermon (Bob).
He is survived by: his sons, Sheldon Glenn Simmermon (Karla) of Blue Springs, MO and Shannon Eugene Simmermon (Gina Kephart) of Independence, MO.; and his siblings, Beverly Craig, Nancy Stoyko and Eddy Simmermon. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
He donated countless hours of service to both organizations.
