He was predeceased by: his parents, John Murdock and Eva Murdock (Allen); his siblings, Katherine Lacy and J. E. Murdock; and his great grandchild Ryan Hampel.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Murdock of Belton, MO; and his children, Douglas Murdock of Independence, MO, Debra Wilson (Joel) of Raymore, MO and Richard Murdock (Jami) of Olathe, KS. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Christian Church (111 SW Woods Chapel Rd, Blue Springs, MO 64015). A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Good Shepherd Christian Church or Residential Hospice.
