He was predeceased by: his wife Leatha Thompson; and his brothers, Bert Thompson Jr. and Charles Thompson. He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Curatalo (Frank) of Grain Valley, MO and Anita Draggoo of Independence, MO; his siblings, Darlene Barker (Vernon) and Harold Thompson (Betty); and his grandchildren, Cari Sue Koehly, Jason Robbins, Kayleigh Curatalo, Nick Curatalo, Alyssa Curatalo, Michael Huntsucker, Kelly Melcher and Billy Melcher.
