He is survived by: his wife Michele Newell (Hyder); his daughter Erica Canlas (Ben); his grandchildren, Ava, Tate and Nora; his daughter Emilie Newell (Marina); and his siblings, Judy Wylie and John Newell (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
