It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica M. Hallerud (Blue Springs, Missouri), who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Ulmer and Martha Ulmer (Munsch); her son Olaf Wayne; and her granddaughter Kirsten Elizabeth. She is survived by: her husband Walter A. Hallerud; her children, Karen Louise (Steve Moore) of Blue Springs, MO, Eric Walter (Diana Renek) of Kansas City, MO and David Keith of Grain Valley, MO; her sister Gertrude Anderson (Ulmer) of Mesa, AZ.; her grandchildren, Stephen Jackson Moore, Kathryn Elizabeth Moore Narayan, Kiel Christian Hallerud and Lauren Christine Hallerud; her great grandchildren, Nora Grace and Truman James Moore; and her grandchildren, Harrison James, Isabelle Louise Narayan and Marissa Isabelle Hallerud.
