He was predeceased by: his parents, Tillman Hunter and Florence Hunter (Everhart); and his children, Carla Daughtrey and John Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Dessie Hunter; his son Timmy Hunter (Stacie); his daughter-in-law Yvonne Hunter; and his grandchildren, Misty O'Dell, Nicholas O'Dell, Natalie Alcott, Samantha Daughtrey, Garland Gilbert, Alex Hunter, Cody Hunter, Sara Rios and John T. Hunter. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nine siblings.
