She was predeceased by: her parents, Phil Rentchler and Mary Rentchler (Meier Otto); and her brother John Phillip Rentchler. She is survived by: her former husband Donald Lee Simpson; her children, James Lee (Alice Simpson) and Phyllis Ann (Jim Jackson); her husband Ernest Swann of Independence; her sister Barbara Hollis of Woodbridge; her stepdaughter Joy (Mike Quaite); her grandchildren, Danny, Chany Jackson of Oak Grove, Christina Prier of Grain Valley, Jennifer, Talon Wilder of Ava, John, Jody Boydston of Colorado and Jeanette Klausmeir of Colorado; her great grandchildren, Daniel Lee, Gavin, Grant, Garrett Jackson, Jordan, Megan Prier, Emily Wilder, Kylie Green (Dalton), Hannah Scarborough (Joseph) and Makayla Dodson (Larry); her great great grandchildren, Jedidiah Scarborough and Benjamin Dodson; and also Laith Klausmeir.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Henry County Historical Society and may be left in care of the funeral home.
