He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Raymond and Lillian Frances Shaver (Callahan); and his brother Jerry Shaver. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Shaver; his daughters, Michelle Spader (Jon) and Rachael Riddle (Brian); and his brothers, Harlan Shaver and Michael Shaver. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
