He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Whiteside and Ilia Mary Whiteseide (Devine). He is also survived by two sisters; and his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution as are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society and may be left in care of the Meyers Northland Chapel, 401 Main St. Parkville, MO 64152.
