He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Powers and Charlotte Powers; and his siblings, Jean, Leila Wanke, Dale and Dean Powers.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Powers; his son Nathan Powers of Blue Springs, MO; and his sister Donna Jensen of Milwaukee, WI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Blue Springs (4500 S Little Blue Pkwy, Independence, MO 64057).
