It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Rea (Blue Springs, Missouri), who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Rea and Louise Rea; his wife Sue Cates; his son Kyle; his son-in-law Joe Burgoyne; and his siblings, Joe, Don and Alice.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joni Burgoyne and Stefanie Geitz (Rick) of McLean, Illinois; his daughter-in-law Jodie Evans; his grandsons, Britton, Jason and Austin Rea; his brother Jack Rea of Jefferson City; and his grandchild Kearney.
