With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gayle Wendell Gunn of Blue Springs, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2024 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Hobson Gunn and Laura Nell Norris-Gunn; and his brothers, Raymond, Rex and Carl Gunn.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Virginia Gunn-Venable; his wife Marlene Patricia Gunn; and his children, John Wendell Gunn, Robert Eugene Gunn (Tammy), Virginia Lynn Neale, Gary Michael Gunn, Jeffrey Scott Ford (Lisa), Patricia Diane Garvey (Mike) and Paul William "Billy" Gunn. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
