He was predeceased by: his wife Lowella; his parents, Frank Fencl and Ann Fencl (Prediger); his brother Duane Fencl; and his grandson Michael.

He is survived by: his children, Curtis (Angela), Greg Flores (Dani), Brian (Tracey) and Deidra (Chris); his sister Vicky Kuhar; and his sister-in-law Anne Fencl. He is also survived by his grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
