She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil T. Brown and Laverne Brown (Thompson); and her siblings, Junior Brown, Homer Brown, Frank Brown, Eugene Brown, Eddie Brown, Alma Douglas, Alta Lucas and Barbara Cliver.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Eugene Malott, Sr.; her daughters, Sharon Wheeler of Joplin and Judy Malott of Blue Springs; her sisters, Mona Santiago of Lemon Grove and Virginian Matthes of Columbus; her grandchildren, Danielle, Yen, Branden, Rachael Malott, Hunter Malott, Rachel, Mitchell, Tony and Findley; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Alex Yen, Luca Wheeler (Camargo), Brent, Morgan, Trent Mitchell, Deegan, Iva and Reed Findley.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Blue Springs Assembly of God Mission Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
