He is survived by: his mother Verna Garvey (Whitaker); his wife Wenona Garvey; his children, Shane Garvey (Megan) and Maegan Knapp (Michael); his grandchildren, Paige Garvey, Erik Garvey, Magnus Knapp and Marius Knapp; his great grandchild Cooper Truit; and his siblings, Michael Garvey (Patty) and Elaine Gregg (B. J.).
