As Dudley Dean departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dudley Dean. Though Dudley Dean may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Schnakenberg; and his brother James Wisecup. He is survived by: his children, Jody Lacy (late Paul) of Columbia, Missouri, Jeff Schnakenberg (Catherine) of Sweet Springs, Missouri and Susan Henning-Dambach (late Randall Henning); and his sister Georgia Redman (Bob) of Grain Valley.
Dean also made lasting contributions to education, spearheading the construction of a new high school in Kingsville, MO, and helping establish a new library in Ithaca, WI.
