Duaine W. Hoy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duaine W. Hoy of Blue Springs, Missouri, born in Bronson, Iowa, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hoy and Ila June Case (Sevy); his siblings, Harry A. Hoy, Larry R. Hoy and Lois M. Young; his siblings-in-law, Elmer Young, Glenn Williams and Beverly Hoy; and his grandson Danny Shelton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Hoy and Elaine Williams; his children, Patricia Sevier, Barbara Roark (Keith), Debra Hoy Metz, Dorothy Fisher (John) and Mark Hoy; his close friend Beverly Craig; and his daughter Karee Craig (Gary Bond). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to the Oak Grove Community of Christ Church, Kidney Foundation of Kansas City, The American Heart Association, or the Missouri Department of Conservation to support the Burr Oaks Woods Conservation Area.
