He was predeceased by: his son Donald D. Brammer, Jr. He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Hooks of Kansas City, KS; his grandchildren, Robert Hooks and Ryan Hooks; and his great grandchildren, Robert Hooks, Ryan Hooks and Joi Hooks.

Donations may be made in his name to the Kansas City Hospice House.
