It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Alan Mattonen of Blue Springs, Missouri, who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to David Alan's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration David Alan has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his father Jack Boyer; and his pet Gracie. He is survived by: his mother Wilma Ruth Boyer; his siblings, Donna Mattonen, Diane Kristian (Gregg) and Donald Mattonen (Joy LaMourea); his daughters, Stephanie Nemitz (Nate), Anna Madrigal (Christian) and Julia Mattonen; and his grandchildren, Caitlin Kling, Jack Nemitz, Graham Gordon and Cameron Madrigal.
A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the South Sandy Cemetery.
