He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sr. Cartwright and Mary Cartwright; and his sister Jennifer Wilbanks. He is survived by: his siblings, Harold Cartwright Jr. of Blue Springs, MO, Tom Cartwright (Sue) of Lowell, IN, Jeff Cartwright (Theresa) of Park Forest, IL, Jim Cartwright (Kathy) of Steger, IL and Julie Vestal (Tony); and his close friend Raymond Johnson of Pine Bluff, AR.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
