Charlene Brandt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2024, at the age of 85, Charlene Brandt of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor LaPlate and Duetta LaPlate (Arpin); her husband Richard Brandt (Dick); and her siblings, Robert LaPlante and Joyce Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Brandt (Christy) of Gainesville, FL and Danielle Jones (Ward) of Potomac Falls, VA; her grandchildren, Margaret, William, Catherine and Elizabeth Jones of Potomac Falls, VA; and her siblings, Donna DeVito (Rocco) of Staunton, VA, Dennis LaPlante (Opal) of Oak Grove, MO and Virginia Thyfault of Hays, KS. She is also survived by many nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church (46639 Algonkian Pkwy, Sterling, VA 20165). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
As her Alzheimer's progressed, she spoke often of her childhood and shared fond memories of family and friends from her youth.
