It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice M. Durbin (Blue Springs, Missouri), who passed away on August 21, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Durbin (Bob); her former husband Vernon C. Ricketts; her parents, Jess William Covey and Hettie Jane Chaney Bledsoe; her siblings, William Covey, Paul Covey and Jessie Maydean Melvin; her stepsister Alta Johnston; and her granddaughter Tammy Ginnings Wood. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
