With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laverne M Dodgen of Blue Eye, Missouri, born in Oak Grove, Arkansas, who passed away on August 18, 2020 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Philemon Hutchison (P. L.) and Virgie Hutchison; her daughter Marian Royce; her husband Roy Dodgen; and her siblings, Nadine Frederick, Exilee Garrison and Ansel Hutchison.

She is survived by: her children, David Dodgen (Betty), Judy Miller (Joy) and Kim Chapman (Tim); and her siblings, Pat Hutchison (Betty) and Billie Lou Dicus. She is also survived by Four Grandsons; Two Great Grandsons; Three Great Granddaughters; Two Great Great Grandsons; and a host of other nieces and nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations made to the First Baptist Church of Blue Eye.
