He is survived by: his children, Shilo Evans (Chris), Nathan Chapin, Kevin Etchison, Aaron Chapin, Adam Chapin, Samuel Chapin (Renee) and James Chapin (Kayla); his grandchildren, Ethan, Rachael, Leah, Devin, Brayden and Layn; his great grandchild Denver; and his siblings, Elmer "Mac" Chapin, Nora Hudspeth and Rose Mary Phelan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
