He was predeceased by: his parents, Renti Glaser and Irene Glaser; his siblings, Rolland Reimer (Marlene), Renti John Reimer (Peggy), Darlene Pauna and Donna Briese (Ralph); and his parents-in-law, Truman and Marjorie Dokken.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy L. Reimer; his children, John Reimer (Susan Olberding) of Brooklyn Center, Jack Reimer (Kandee Bartholomew) of Mason City, Jesse and Sarah Reimer of Ridgedale; his stepdaughter Cali Klooster (Spencer) of Garner, Iowa; his mother-in-law Donna Dokken of Owatonna, Minnesota; his sister-in-law Karen Crowley of Rifle, Colorado; his grandchildren, Desirae, Mike Lowell, Damian Reimer (Anna Jillian Hernandez), Jordan and Logan Klooster; his great grandchildren, Nora, Michael, Xavia, Bentley, Layne Lowell and Thomas Reimer; and his nieces and nephews, Jesse Crowley (Amber Johnson) and Emily Crowley (Roy Flores). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and close family members, and friends.
