He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Ally Jean; his parents, Glenda Cotner and Dewey Ray Cotner; and his brothers, Eddie Cotner and Delbert Cotner.
He is survived by: his daughter Holly Benson of Gerald, MO; his grandchildren, Trenton, Kylie, Summer and Lakely of Gerald, MO.; and his siblings, Wilma Cheatam of Murphysboro, Margret Friese of Jackson, MO, Jim Cotner Sr. of Ill and David Cotner of Rogue River. He is also survived by seven nieces, five nephews and many cousins.
