He was predeceased by: his parents, Regina Sexauer (Hoog) and Arthur Erb Sexauer, MD; and his brother Arthur W. Sexauer. He is survived by: his children, Annie Sexauer (Alyson Bull) of South Deerfield, MA, Joseph Sexauer (Krisann Rehbein) of Milwaukee, WI and William Sexauer of Tulsa, OK; his siblings, Ann Basler (John), Mary "Mimi" Sexauer and Charles Sexauer (Diane); and his grandchildren, Aliyah, Allston, Avery and Lillian. He is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
