He is survived by: his wife Carol Dougan James of Bloomsdale; his sons, Kevin James (Colleen) of Maryville, Illinois, David James (Lori) of Troy, Illinois and Max James (Christy) of East Alton, Illinois; his stepsons, Chris Dougan (Paulette) of Clayton and Gregg Dougan (Dana) of Webster Groves, Missouri; his siblings, Doug James (Joan) of Fruitland and Martha Howell of Jackson; his grandchildren, Brittany Skaggs (Justin), Austin James, Jennifer James, Mary Kate James, Holly Gaines (Adam), Theresa James and Heather James; and his stepgrandchildren, Forrest Dougan (Nicole), Molly, Connor, Bridget, Liam Dougan and Denise Brown. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
