He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Howard Bostic and Mary Catherine Knuckles Bostic; his children, Mathew Bostic and Jeannie Kay Bostic; and his siblings, Hubert Bostic, Floyd Bostic, Cecil Bostic, Elmer Bostic, Julius Bostic, Sliva Hunter, Hazel Davis, Cletta Carver and Imogene McCulley.
He is survived by: his children, Ivan H. Bostic (Tanya) of Bloomfield, Clyde R. Bostic of Springfield, Jim D. Bostic (Mary) of Flint, Wayne Bostic of Bloomfield, Ron Bostic (Regina) of Kentucky, Betty Gaddis (Slim) of Delta and Pauline Gilder of Perkins, Missouri. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and fifty-five great-grandchildren.
