He is survived by: his children, Tonya Roper of Bloomfield, Jack Ervin (Tasha) of Advance and Jacqueline Hammond (Michael) of St. Charles; his siblings, Louie Ervin of Cedar Rapids, James Ervin of Cape Girardeau, Loyd Ervin of Cape Girardeau, Joe Ervin of Cape Girardeau and Lorene Burford of Scott City; and his grandchildren, Justin Ervin, Joshua Ervin, Jordi Provance, Brittney Clark, Blake Roper, Brandon Roper, Andrew Hammond and Henry Ervin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may take the form of contributions to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).
