He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Levon (Burgess); and his siblings, Mildred Arlene Mason, Howard Marquis, Verna Harper and Della St. Cinn.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Rushin of Bloomfield, Tony Rushin of Dexter, Jeff (Kim Rushin) of Bloomfield and Mike Rushin of Anna, Illinois. He is also survived by grandson that he raised since an infant, Colin Jones; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews as well a host of family and friends.
