It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Earl L. Pennington (Bloomfield, Missouri), born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on October 20, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard V. Pennington and Edna Pennington (Dodd); his wife Mary Johnson; and his brother Ray Pennington. He is survived by: his son Douglas E. Pennington (Mary) of Poplar Bluff; his granddaughters, Melissa Pennington DeWerff (Scott) of Poplar Buff and Jennifer Pennington of Kansas City; and his siblings, Paul Pennington (Karen) of Waltonville, Ill. and Barbara Baker of Poplar Bluff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions only 10 people are allowed in pavilion for graveside service.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to VFW Post 6477, 415 South Broadway St., Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.
