He was predeceased by: his siblings, Frank Gaskins, Joyce Sims, Gloria Ring and Glenda Martin. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Bolin; his sons, Charles Gaskins II of Bloomfield and Gary Gaskins of Granite City, Illinois; and his sisters, Debbie Asher of Eldon and Sherrie Yates of Bono. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
