It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verble L. Ward of Bland, Missouri, who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bland Ward and Maxine Ward; his son Jimmy Ward; and his siblings, Lester Ward, Geneva Knapp, Norma Rogers and Dottie Barker.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Maxine Curton; his children, Wilma Ward of Lebanon, Missouri, Betty Lamar (Donnie) of Lebanon, Missouri, Patricia Neff (John) of Lebanon, Missouri, Larry Ward (Amanda) of Camdenton, Mike Ward of Lebanon, Missouri and Billy Ward (Shelby Farris) of Lebanon, Missouri; and his siblings, Jack Ward (Carolyn) of Phillipsburg, Missouri, Virginia Devore of Lebanon and Mary May Rogers of Buffalo, Missouri. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
And 28 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
