It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Thurmond of Bland, Missouri, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Loyd and Dora Loyd (Nevills); her husband Franklin Edward Thurmond; her daughter Lisa Thurmond; her siblings, Donald Lee Loyd and Mary Jane Klein; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Thurmond and Rose Loyd.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Thurmond (Patti) of Bland, Roger Thurmond of Pryor, OK, Benny Jo Thurmond of St. Clair, Sammy Thurmond of St. Clair, Gary Leroy Thurmond (Michelle) of St. Clair, Marvin Thurmond (Cindy) of Des Moines, IA, Rose McKinnon of St. Clair and Denice Duffer (John) of Union; and her siblings, Leslie "Bud" Loyd of Union, Robert Loyd of Treloar, MO, Ronnie Loyd of Union, Martin Loyd of Union, Della Cooper (Gene) of Pacific, Velma Higgs of Cherryville, Vicky Casey of Independence, Betty June Horn (Robert) of Stran and Cindy Abbit of Union. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
