We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2020, at the age of 75, Betty Whitaker of Bland, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry E. Leonberger and Betty L. Leonberger (Wheeler). She is survived by: her husband Harold Gene Whitaker; her daughters, Tamera Leach (Christopher) of Warrenton and Christine Orlando of Bland; her grandchildren, Kymberly, Stephen (Kristen), Ashley, Michael and Holly Anne (Levi); and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Layla, Miya, Gauge, Kiera, Oliver and Quentin.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Sassmann's Chapel in Bland from 12:00 p. m. until 2:00 p. m. Masks are suggested and social distancing guidelines must be followed.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St. Jude's or to the Shiners Children's Hospital in St. Louis.
