She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gray and Ada Byrd (Jones); her husband George Edward Shepherd, Sr.; her son Dennis Shepherd; and her siblings, Junior Gray and Donna Fay Newman.
She is survived by: her son Eddie Shepherd, II of Bland; and her grandchildren, George Shepherd, III and Jennie Shepherd. She is also survived by five great grandchildren as well as many extended family members and friends.
